Preface
Over the years I've encountered hundreds of writing assignments, exploring all different genres, processes, and styles. The one I have always been fond of though is Narratives. The writing that tells a story that can either inform or entertain a viewer. Personally I like writing stories that are bizarre and wild that capture a readers attention and draws them into the story. Engulfing their boring and stale world and taking them to a whole new world. One full of twists and turns, like a whirl wind gone out of control. Unable to be predicted, that breaks the through what is expected. Leaving the reader bewildered and consumed by my thrilling story. Up until junior year I felt like most, where I hated writing assignments. They were just tedious and time consuming. But then my teacher that year changed the way I felt, she showed me how to enjoy writing. She encouraged me to be wild, spontaneous and write whatever floated into my head. To take those ideas and run with them. And since then ever now and then I get an outrageous idea and I make a story from it. Whether the idea came from an experience in my life, or inspired by something I saw on T.V or online, I would write about it. Now I'm not a very emotional guy, whether I'm happy, sad, angry etc those emotions don't get out. I always make sure that I have myself and emotions under control.

I also tried my hand at a mini scene full of action and dialogue, Creating an Emotional Scene with Dialogue and Symbolism. I also imitated a round table discussion with famous writers to get used to using dialogue and its format, Writing Process Round Table. There is also my blog post that is A Letter to My Author Self. In this latter I talk about reconnects and getting more into writing,
